Chryseia is our finest expression of the Douro Valley terroir. Made with great care and attention to detail at our winery at Quinta de Roriz, Chryseia represents our two families' commitment to producing the most elegant wine from two hallmark Douro grapes: Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca.

The year An exceedingly dry year that culminated with 77mm of rain falling between 9-17th August – the highest recorded for that month in the Douro for 104 years – and three weeks of sunshine allowing for perfect ripening.

The wine The 2004 is characterised by its rich structure and finesse.
