Chryseia is our finest expression of the Douro Valley terroir. Made with great care and attention to detail at our winery at Quinta de Roriz, Chryseia represents our two families' commitment to producing the most elegant wine from two hallmark Douro grapes: Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca.

The year Welcome winter rain replenished water stocks before a temperate spring and remarkably hot early summer was interrupted by a freak hailstorm in June. Quinta da Perdiz was severely affected and therefore no grapes from the property were used in the blend.

The wine The 2006 is characterised by excellent balance, structure, and fresh, well-integrated tannins.
