Chryseia is our finest expression of the Douro Valley terroir. Made with great care and attention to detail at our winery at Quinta de Roriz, Chryseia represents our two families' commitment to producing the most elegant wine from two hallmark Douro grapes: Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca.

The year A remarkably dry year in the Douro with hot summer temperatures, leading to a significant reduction in the size of the vintage. Once again, our vines showed their tremendous resilience.

The wine The 2009 is characterised by its complex aromas of black cherries and roses, silky tannins, and fantastic ageing potential.
