Chryseia is our finest expression of the Douro Valley terroir. Made with great care and attention to detail at our winery at Quinta de Roriz, Chryseia represents our two families' commitment to producing the most elegant wine from two hallmark Douro grapes: Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca.

The year A very wet winter and spring helped to mitigate the effects of an exceedingly hot and dry summer. Showers in August and September were key in achieving balanced maturations.

The wine The 2016 is characterised by its immense power, silky tannins, and great freshness.
